Benchmark does good work and the site super is knowledgeable. The problem is getting paid. We've waited 90 days on two separate projects, and getting someone on the phone about a pay app is a real challenge. Would consider working with them again if payment terms were addressed up front.

The quality of the finished product is excellent — clients love the results. But be prepared for slow pay. Our last invoice sat for 11 weeks. The work is steady and the GC is professional on-site, just get your retainage terms in writing and plan your cash flow accordingly.

Commercial buildouts

Benchmark reaches out a lot with new projects, which we appreciate. Their project managers are responsive during construction. The pay cycle is long — typically 75-90 days — but they do pay, and we haven't had a dispute over the actual dollar amount.
